Years in business online: 1 year
.
1. Provide a brief description of your business a) who do you love to work with? b) what is the #1 greatest benefit they get from working with you?
People set goals around what society expects or what friends and family believe should be done vs. what they really want. When entrepreneurs especially women decide to go create their dream business all of a sudden there is contention in the relationships closest to them. The status quo has changed instead of the support they expected there seems to be a lack of communication and understanding not to mention those really nasty little comments. I love working with women entrepreneurs helping support their dreams and creating relationships on their terms, having better communication while increasing productivity in their business.
2. What does being a woman in business online mean to you and what is your favorite thing about it?
I have the opportunity to change the traditional business model. I am so jazzed that I can affect others especially on a global basis.
3. Who or has been your greatest mentor and how have they impacted your success?
I have many great mentors. My greatest mentor was Napoleon Hill the one that started me on the path of being an entrepreneur. I started reading his books right after I moved to FL and then I started to question everything. What I wanted, my life, where I was going and the most important how can I help others. Since then I challenge myself constantly both personally and professionally. I am a work in progress and loving every minute of it.
4. What is the one achievement are you most proud of so far and why?
Being OK with being uncomfortable. Always challenging the status quo pushing my walls further out. Asking myself hard questions that make me evaluate what is going on in my life. Am I creating the life I want? Shifting my lens to incorporate a much bigger picture.
5. What does “authentic in business” mean to you and why is it important?
Following my heart and using my intuition to help others.
6. What is your favorite & most effective marketing strategy that you use to grow your business?
I really enjoy using survey monkey to get responses from my target market. From there I craft services around the relationship area to best serve my clients.
7. How do you stay off (or minimize the extremes) of the proverbial “cashflow rollercoaster”?
I am always marketing making it a number one priority.
8. How do you achieve work-life balance?
I stay engaged in my life in this moment. Whether I am working or enjoying time with my husband I am a firm believer of being in this moment and fully experiencing my life right now. For me the balance comes from totally engaging in my life.
9. What is your favorite technology that supports your online business and why?
I use windows movie maker. I like making videos and this helps me to change scenes, fade in or out, or splice any scene. Another great freebie is Magic Video Converter. Changes the video to a different format such as AVI or MP4.
10. What is your best productivity tip? What is the #1 contributor to getting the right things done quickly and with less struggle?
I make time for myself to do the things I really enjoy such as reading or just hanging out with my friends. When I do this I am more relaxed and creative. By being good to myself I am more engaged with those around me.
11. What has been your biggest breakthrough, mindset shift or top lesson learned so far?
My biggest lesson learned is to follow my heart. In doing so I had to learn to “tough it out” because of lack of support from those closest to me. I created my business so others do not suffer the way I did.
12. What is one way that other women in business online can help you to be more successful in business?
Creating strategic alliances so that I can serve more women who are struggling with their relationships while working on their business as well as help other women in business get their product or service out so they can serve more people.
